HONDA’S Ando features in Episode One of the MXTV new season

No Fear Honda’s own Craig ‘Ando’ Anderson joined Brendan Bell and the rest of the crew from MXTV recently for filming in Melbourne of the show’s premier episode due to air shortly.

Bell, along with co-host Lee Hogan, chatted with Ando about his results in the current National Motocross Championships where the multiple champion recently clocked up a salubrious four straight round wins to close in on the title.

NSW based Ando, who was in town for testing and training prior to the next round at Broadford, VIC in July, was more than happy to appear on the celebrated show’s first episode.

“It’s fantastic to see a show like this in Australia now. Its really helping to elevate the professionalism of the sport and give fans the kind of information they want,” he said.

“We are expecting this to be a very big year for MXTV,” Bell commented. “So it was great to kick it off with a big name like Ando on the panel.”

In addition to Honda being on board as a major sponsor, MXTV has also just recently announced a new partnership with car giant Ford, and the “Unbelievable Falcon XR Ute” in particular.

The announcement comes as the MXTV team gear up for their first crack at free to air television on NBN 9.

“We’re very proud to have Ford on board this year and really look forward to forging some long term relationships. They’re obviously a marquee brand, and really complement our other major sponsors such as Honda,” Bell said.

“Our goal has always been to try and attract outside industry sponsors back into dirt bike riding, as well as work with the brands that have built this sport to where it is today, so we couldn’t be happier.”

Look out for the new season of MXTV on NBN Nine, Foxtel and Austar Digital and C31 nationally from July 1st 2006.
