GHR Honda Riders Eager for Four Day Enduro
Australia’s biggest off road Enduro race will kick off on Thursday with Glenn Hoffmann Honda riders AJ Roberts and Ben Grabham representing the manufacturer in a highly competitive international field.

Entries for the Australian 4 Day Enduro (A4DE) have hit an all time high, with a greater number of world class international riders than ever before making the trip Down Under for the event at Coff’s Harbour, NSW.
Roberts, who currently holds the coveted Australian Off Road series title, is not making any assumptions about the weekend.
“I’ve been up here in Coffs for the past week or so preparing the bike and testing, and we are 100% ready to go,” he said.
“I’ve been competing in this event for about five years; I think Benny (Grabham) is a real veteran of around 10 years, so we have the experience.”
“What will make this year so interesting is that we will be competing on an even field with the world’s best riders, but it will be in our Australian conditions which they aren’t familiar with. They’re all flocking over to enter this race because it’s the next best thing to the international six day.”
According to the promoters, riders should enjoy great conditions with winter rain having fallen around the area over the past few days, creating perfect conditions.
The special tests are designed to be extremely challenging and will provide excellent viewing for spectators, particularly on days one and three at Ulong. There will also be a special test each day at Coramba Sports Ground.
Attendance by multiple world champions David Knight and Stefan Merriman, along with esteemed Australian riders such as Jake Stapleton, Glenn Kearney, Josh Strang, Jarrod Bewley, and Chris Hollis will ensure that this will be the most highly contested A4DE in the history of the event.
“When I race overseas, I normally don’t even see guys like Knight and Merriman because they ride in a different class to me,” Roberts explained. “This time we will all be on similar capacity bikes – I’ll be on the CRF450 - so we will be on par, so to speak.”
Daily action will be televised each night at the Coffs Hogs Breath café from 6.30pm. As always, the Parc Ferme will also be a hive of activity.
