Watagan’s Winner Collects His New Ride

After organisers were forced to stall the start date of the Honda Watagan Trail Bike Rally due to Mother Nature’s unpredictability, the iconic event eventually took place in stunning conditions last month.
One lucky participant, not only crammed in some of the “best riding of his life”, but also walked away as winner of the Honda sponsored grand prize, a brand new CRF250X.
Anthony Hart, a local to the area and a repeat participant in the annual event, said this year’s trails were even better than previous years.
"Even though I live in the local area and can ride the Watagans when ever I like, I love the atmosphere of the Honda Watagan Rally.”
“Winning the bike was a fantastic bonus," Hart said after collecting his new ride from Woody’s Motorcycles on the Central Coast.
Located 1 ½ hours from Sydney, the Watagan’s event attracted hundreds of riders, from novice to experienced, who enjoyed a variety of terrain set out in 50 km and 80 km loops.
As well as some of the country’s finest trails, attendees enjoyed a weekend jam packed with bands, a huge trade display, and a festival style campground all geared for family members of all ages.
