Yamaha Junior Development Team Vic Continue to Develop Future Champions

After 5 long hot humid days and nights YJDT VIC came away from the AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS Coolum QLD, standing proud of our young chargers. All who are full time school kids, which is important to the team’s philosophy?
Troy McNally 125 and 250f 13-u15
Troy's highlight a 2nd place in the 125 heat and consistent lap times all weekend shows that he is maturing as a rider. 12 races over 5 hot days Troy Qualified 18th on the 125 and 13th on the 250f. In the finals Troy ran 13th 17th 15th on the 125cc showing consistency on the 250f 10th 13th and 15th as the heat and track took there toll.
Michael (mozzie) Crugnale 125 and 250f 13-u15
The quite achiever Mozzie only picked up a 250F 4 weeks ago and has adapted to it like a duck to water solid as a rock strong and brave. 2nd in a qualifier and qualifying 5th.mozzie also placed 6th in a final race Mozzie can stand proud, look out as Mozzie can run this class again next year. On the 125 a couple of mid pack crashes he qualified 24th.
Steve Bennett 85cc 12-u14
From racing 65cc last year to YZ85cc big wheel this year Steve was planning to qualify for the finals, there was over 100 entry's for this class with only 40 making the finals Steve Qualified 35th then his next aim was to beat his qualifying place in every race which he achieved
Joel Milesevic 85cc 9-u12
After Qualifying 4TH Joel had a real expectation of a podium he has the raw speed and talent to win, But some bad starts and trouble getting through traffic, Joel just could not make his way up to the front, his lap times showed he has the pace He has the bike and the determination and support from his family and Team. Joel will put the pieces together. WATCH THIS SPACE!
